Moor Farm Horses is predominately a business on the farm near Malton, North Yorkshire, run by Katie to offer horses and ponies for sale. We are not a dealing yard, we are very much a working farm. Katie has built up a reputation of matching riders with horses. She carries a stock of specially selected, good quality horses, mainly sourced in Ireland.

If she considers a rider not suitable for a horse, or a horse not suitable for a rider, she will be able to tell very quickly and hopefully offer a more suitable horse for you. With her many contacts, if she doesn’t have a suitable horse on the farm, she might be able to find you a horse that will match your level of riding skills.

Other services offered by Katie are riding instruction on your own horses and ponies and a limited amount of livery. (Please bear in mind, we are NOT a riding school and so we don’t use our horses for instruction, nor do we hire horses out).
